In Mother to Son, I share a series of letters to my son about my journey as an African American Christian and what I want them to know as they grow and approach the world as black men.
To celebrate the launch of my new book, I'm hosting a giveaway sponsored by Highest Good Media and The Gospel Coalition. There will be one grand prize winner and four runner ups.

What is Post-Scriptum?
Post-Scriptum is an online event hosted by Jasmine L. Holmes where she will reflect on the themes of Mother to Son with special guests. The date of the event will be late April 2020.

I already have the book and I've registered for TGCW. Should I still enter?
Of course! If you win, you're welcome to use your ticket to cover the registration of a friend or family member or give them your book as a gift. Plus, you could win up to two tickets to Post Scriptum. Finally, if you've been encouraged by the book, entering this giveaway is a great way to spread the word.

What if they cancel TGCW20 due to COVID-19?
TGC has developed an internal task force composed of staff and medical professionals who are monitoring the situation closely. This group is in regular contact with officials from the State of Indiana, the City of Indianapolis, and our partner hotel properties.
With their guidance, in the coming weeks, they will make a determination regarding TGCW20. They are working through several different scenarios and asking the Lord for direction. Currently, the TGC is planning to move forward in June. But if June is not an option for TGCW20, they're hoping to postpone it rather than cancel. You can find the latest update here.

No, but you will have an opportunity to earn additional entries.

Can people living outside of the United States enter this sweepstakes?
Only legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 21 years or older at the time of entry can enter. Unfortunately, we are unable to include our global audience in our sweepstakes.

Can I enter the Mother to Son giveaway if I haven’t purchased the book?
Absolutely! You can enter without purchasing Mother to Son.

How do I confirm my entry?
You should recieve an email confirming your form entry. However, you will not recieve an email for additional entries.

When will you announce the winners?
We will announce the Runner Ups on March 27, April 3, April 10, and April 17. We will announce the Grand Prize winner on April 24.

Will I have a chance to win the grand prize if I win the runner up prize first?
Absolutely, but you will forfeit your runner up prize for the grand prize. For example, if you've already received a signed copy of Mother to Son and your free ticket to Post Scriptum Online, we will only send you one additional ticket to Post Scriptum and a free registration code to the TGCW conference.
